Benjamin G. Stickels is a freelance Sound Designer and Audio Engineer currently residing in Charlotte, North Carolina.  He holds a position as Senior Lecturer: Audio Engineer and Assistant Production Manager in the Performing Arts Services: Design and Production unit of the College of Arts + Architecture for the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, primarily serving the departments of theatre, music, and dance.

 

He has designed and/or engineered sound, including several world premieres, for the Children's Theatre of Charlotte, Three Bone Theatre, the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, the Texas Shakespeare Festival, Unicorn Theatre, the University of Missouri - Kansas City, Kansas City Repertory Theatre, Actors Theatre - Kansas City, and Western Michigan University.

 

He holds professional membership in the Theatrical Sound Designers and Composers Association and the United States Institute for Theatre Technology.
